Our Home

The dictionary defines the word “home” as “a place of affection, peace, and rest; a congenial abiding place.” This describes what generations of people have found when they turned to The Baptist Home in their time of need.

112 private and 4 semi-private rooms are located on a single level, convenient to the dining room, library/ living room, beauty parlor, coffee shop, and chapel, where services are held in a variety of religions throughout the week. Spacious sunrooms are the focal point of each of the three resident wings.

The Baptist Home has become a vital part of the local Rhinebeck community. We welcome young people to play sports on the Brookmeade field and the facility is available for community meetings. Volunteer opportunities are also available working directly with the resident family and well as assisting in other operational areas.
